Why

This blog is exclusively dedicated to authentic student learning.

The Making IT Click blog is intended to:

• Showcase authentic student learning
• Allow students to share outside their classroom
• Act as a precursor to the annual student showcase event, NISD Expo 

This blog puts the spotlight on the student and how technology was used to add depth to their learning.  It makes our Instructional Technology vision tangible by showing actual products. This is not an outlet for us to talk about our vision, but to show our vision through authentic student samples.

While there is certainly numerous applications that fit this criteria, this blog features a teachers unique ability to combine pedagogy with available technology resources with evidence of student via a student product.  The efforts of the classroom community will be embodied in a piece of student work once a week.
